A Preacher, A Physician, A Pioneer

                                               


                                                   G. I Woolsey  - First Pastor of Harmony Grove Baptist Church ( now WOOLSEY BAPTIST CHURCH ) . he was born in 1828 and died in 1902 - today.. many of his descendants are helping to preserve the history of the town named after him. They are restoring the old church building and are " refreshing" and making repairs on the Woolsey cemetery.                                                  I was blessed to build a NEW brick column for the Cemetery after a car accident " took out" the corner column of the cemetery-  heres the beginning work- the first day- brick haven't been cleaned - so the colors dont show up- keep scrolling  😊

                              

                                             the decorative Corbel capital ( the decorative offset at the top ) has been built...  and column all cleaned up

REGROUT and REPAIR BRICK STEPS

                                                        BEFORE- old crumbling , deteriorating mortar-                                                   below- damaged mortar removed with handtools and masonry saw                                      below- after damaged mortar has been removed with saw, hammer, chisel work- new mortar is sponged into the joints- several steps of sponging off and cleaning are required                                               Below- the  FINISHED PRODUCT after cleaning..
